Cell phone pictures of an alleged dog fighting ring led to an arrest Monday in Luzerne Township, Fayette County.

State police said the dog fight took place on Frick Street in Hiller, Fayette County, in February.

Troopers arrested Mark Johnson, 40, on Monday. Johnson, of Hiller, has been charged with cruelty to animals and animal fighting. He remains in the Fayette County Jail on $15,000 bond.

Troopers continue to search for two others, identified as James Holcomb Jr., 31, of Brownsville, and Perry Wells, 30, of Lorraine, Ohio.

Holcomb is expected to turn himself in to state police.

Wells remains at large.

Both men face charges of cruelty to animals and animal fighting.

Warrants have been issued for their arrests.
